Nichole Lehman, DCDr. Nichole Lehman

Dr. Nichole Lehman, aka Dr. Niki, grew up in York and has been serving South Central PA for over 10 years as a Chiropractic Physician. Health and fitness have always been major motivators for Dr. Niki, and have led her to a rewarding career that she loves.
Dr. Niki was avidly involved in sports as a competitive swimmer at York Suburban High School and at North Carolina State University. While at NC State, she worked as an assistant strength coach and personal trainer with both beginner and elite athletes. It was during her competitive swimming career that she encountered a need for chiropractic care to alleviate her own neck and shoulder injuries; she found that chiropractic care alleviated her pain, and taught her to prevent further injury. Dr. Niki loved all aspects of the approach, and chose to pursue a career in chiropractic. After graduating from NC State, Dr. Niki obtained her Doctorate degree in Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. She now uses her experience to help others lead active, healthy lives.

Dr. Jessica HerzogDr. Jessica Herzog

Dr. Jessica Herzog, MD, FAAP, ABIHM grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs playing sports and dancing.  During college at the University of Maryland she was involved in Virology research as well as Neurobiology research at the National Institutes of Health.  She completed her medical training and Pediatric residency at the University of Maryland.  Taking time to follow in her family’s tradition of military service, she was a member of the Army National Guard.  She was commissioned as an officer in the Medical Corps.  Throughout her medical training, she liked serving in the acute care setting best and started her career as a Pediatric Hospitalist.  For nearly 8 years, she served hospitalized children and their families in Maryland, Utah and Pennsylvania.  She cared for sick or injured children and newborns and attended newborn deliveries.  During this time, she had three beautiful children of her own.  Both being a mother and having an illness of her own that was not solved by conventional medicine, led her to seek out more natural remedies for her family’s care.  She quickly discovered her passion for natural medicine with a ‘what’s at the root cause?’ approach, otherwise known at Functional Medicine.  She extensively studied both functional medicine and natural therapies, including essential oils.  Since 2013, she has served as a member of the doTERRA medical advisory board.  She is dual certified in both Integrative Holistic Medicine as well as Pediatrics.  Her love of natural therapies has drawn her out of the hospital and into Turnpaugh Health and Wellness Center, where she can fully share her passion.  Dr. Herzog sees children and adults for sick visits as well as functional medicine care

Dr. John Brow

Dr. John BrowDr. John Brow wanted to become a Chiropractic Physician all of his life after a personal experience with Chiropractic at the age of ten. He wanted to help people but he didn’t like the idea of giving drugs or doing surgery. His journey took him to Chiropractic school where he focused on Neurology and Rehabilitation. He became fascinated with the intricate links between the brain and nervous system, immune system, and endocrine (hormone) system. He knew that the key to helping the chronically ill population, the group that the mainstream healthcare system has turned their backs on, lied in his understanding of how the body communicated between these various systems.

Dr. Brow graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL. It was here that he began his intense study of Neurology that he knew would allow him to serve his patients at a high level. Chiropractic Neurology is the newest, state of the art diagnostic and treatment technique. It brings together research findings from the fields of psychology, neuropsychiatry, neurology, neurophysiology, and nutrition — and used this knowledge to bring hope to the sick, unhappy, and hurting of all ages.

Dr. Brow continues to train extensively in neurology in order to stay current with new research findings and offer his patients the most effective and individualized treatment recommendations. Dr. Brow has become a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist and has just completed his training in Fellowship in Functional Neurology specializing in Childhood Developmental Disorders. He is also extensively trained in Functional Rehabilitation. He continues to pursue studies in Functional Endocrinology, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, and Science Based Nutrition.

One of Dr. Brow’s great passions is speaking to the public about health and wellness. He regularly gives free educational lectures on natural health improvement. He is happily available to speak to civic clubs, church, and social groups and other gatherings for as many as 5 to 100 people.

Dr. Brow’s personal free time is spent with his family. He is the proud father of four young children, and is happily married to his wife Jacquelyn. He enjoys ice hockey which he continues to play. He is also a runner and has competed in the Jersey Shore Marathon as well as several smaller fund raising runs.

Dr. John Neely MD, FAAP, ABIHM, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFM)

NeelyDr. John Neely grew up in York, attended Penn State College of Medicine, and did a residency and fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Minnesota.  He was an attending physician and researcher at the Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati where he researched the biological characteristics of tumors.  He then moved to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where he became the Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and, at various times, the Chair of Pediatrics, the Chair of Humanities, and a teacher of medical students.

Being in a standard medical system, Dr. Neely became acutely aware that, while the modern health care system is excellent for acute care, trauma, and such, whole patient centered care to promote wellness and manage chronic diseases was largely missing. He switched gears in his career becoming board certified by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and was in the inaugural class of graduates certified in Functional Medicine.  He now practices as a Functional Medicine consultant.

Dr. Neely will see any patient who wishes to have a different view and plan on their medical issues and typically advises the best of conventional therapies with Functional Medicine approaches.  His particular interests are women’s health issues, immune issues, and GI issues.  Dr. Neely also has research interests in models of whole person care and the effects of changes in the gut microbiome on health during illness treatments (such as chemotherapy or antibiotics).

In his free time, Dr. Neely and his wife, Lynn, enjoy their 4 adult children and their families, including 8 grandchildren.  John and Lynn also enjoy travel, gardening (organic, of course!), and healthy cooking.
