Suzanne JonesSuzanne Jones, Massage Therapist

After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Suzanne Jones made her home here in South Central PA. For 23 years, she and her husband raised their 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a bird in an old bungalow along the Conodoguinit.  She always dreamed of becoming a Massage Therapist.  But life and time conspired against her until 20years ago. Since then it has been an unfolding of knowledge. The understanding of the body, the energy surrounding it, and the soft tissue structure was and is a continual source of fascination for her. Suzanne graduated with a BFA in Communications and Art, followed with a certification in Massage Therapy and has been licensed for two years.

Suzanne has studied with wonderful  Peruvian Healers, Qigong Masters & Teachers of Hebraic and Christian Mysticism to better understand the subconcious mind and incorporate that into a Massage Practice that combines Neuromuscular Therapy with the dynamic relationship of the Fascia and Energetic Body.   She has found that touch is an essential healing tool within the paradigm of  Holistic Medicine.  Suzanne does this work with the faith that this is her calling and passion.  She has been blessed  to work here at Turnpaugh Chiropractic for 16 years.  She loves the people centered care and homey atmosphere that the office provides.  It is truly a gem of a clinic here in Mechanicsburg, PA.

CheriCheri, RN, BSN,LMT, RM

Cheri is an experienced integrative Registered Nurse, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master. She has lived a holistic lifestyle since growing up on her family’s dairy farm in Maryland, and has always known her calling in healthcare for humans and animals. During nursing school at Hagerstown Junior College, she learned holistic modalities, including massage therapy, and conventional care models while working at a local trauma center as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Within a year after graduation Cheri accepted a position with the National Cancer Institute of NIH, specializing in oncology/immunology and critical care nursing. As a military wife, the next several years brought various personal and professional experiences working in different hospitals on the east coast. Cheri earned her BSN from Virginia Commonwealth University while simultaneously achieving Board Certification in Vascular Nursing. During this same time, a health issue required treatment and she bridged holistic specialists with conventional primary care to create a multidisciplinary care team. This experience created her passion to one day work in an integrative care center helping others benefit from combined holistic and conventional care modalities. Cheri further prepared for her dream by graduating in Holistic Nursing from The BirchTree Center for Healthcare Transformation, and in Massage Therapy from Harrisburg Area Community College. After years of practicing different forms of meditation and energy work, she has achieved certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner. Cheri’s journey has led her to Turnpaugh Health and Wellness where she happily uses all her experiences and education in providing care to our patients.  Services offered:
